# TP-Link Router? Upgrade your firmware and change the Admin password

[The FBI has identified vulnerabilities in certain TP-Link routers](https://www.ic3.gov/PSA/2026/PSA260407) and has confirmed these vulnerabilities have been exploited by cyber criminals.

If you have a TP-Link router, you should:

1. Update the firmware
2. Change the router’s Admin password. (This is not the same as your network password.)
