People like to save money, especially with the run of inflation we’ve had over the last couple years. I’m not sure everyone understands the tradeoffs in service that using an MVNO can bring. In my area of the world there just aren’t many MVNOs that provide the level of service I want. Google Fi works well for me, but it’s certainly no great cost savings. Deprioritization has kind of killed the budget MVNO experience for my use case in my local area.
