Google Home and SmartLife not communicating well

Well, has anyone experienced this and do you know how to fix it?

I have a smart plug that has two outlets.
In my SmartLife app they are named as follows:

  • The overall device: Seasonal Outlet
  • The plug on the left: Ceramic Tree
  • The plug on the right: Wreath

If I open the SmartLife app, I can power Ceramic Tree on or off without affecting Wreath. I can power Wreath on or off without affecting Ceramic Tree, and I can power on or off both sides by toggling Seasonal Outlet.

I have SmartLife linked to my Google Home.

If open Google Home, I can power Wreath on or off without affecting Ceramic Tree.
However, if I power Ceramic Tree on or off, both sides of the plug respond.
Google Home indicates that “Wreath” gets its name from SmartLife where it is named “Wreath.” However, it reports that “Ceramic Tree” is named “Seasonal Outlet” in SmartLife. So Google Home is not recognizing “Ceramic Tree” as one side of the plug, but as the entire device.

What I’ve tried:
Remove SmartLife from Google Home and add it back.
Remove the outlet from SmartLife and add it back.
Tell Google Assistant to “sync my devices.”

What I can’t find is how to totally factory reset the outlet and start over from scratch so I can rename all the components.

Any thoughts?
