Thankfully all my phones are 5G capable for the family, even our backup phone.

Just yesterday I came across a related discussion on Reddit. Other users of T-Mobile Home Internet (TMHI) have received email notices that they should exchange their “modem” devices for a newer version. Since we are still, since 2021, using the early Nokia “trash can” Gateway device to connect (quite satisfactory for our usage) that will happen to us, sometime. Apparently our trash can is not capable of 5G SA, only 5G NSA. At the moment it is connected via B66 and n41.
Looks like my experiments with a Nokia dumb flip phone with only LTE will wind down, too.
